I recently came across this note-to-self crumpled in the bottom of my purse. A similar, more recent one, exists but at the moment is lost. (I know this, because I remember writing it just a couple of days ago...)
BLOG IDEAS
~Butt of a telephone scam. [actual event, caught in time not to be taken; but they were reeling me in and I had gotten several in the community on board. You always think you are too smart for something like that to happen to you.]
~Treasures with photos. Treasure to include:
1) pieces of jewlery with meaningful stories attached;
2) photos of ancestors;
3) collections like nativities, ceramic dogs, teapots both Mother's & my own;
4) pieces of pottery (inherited or bought)
~"What If..." notes of response to an article I read in Christianity Today.
I think I actually wrote a letter to the Editor on that one. And maybe even adapted it to become a devotional article for our local newspaper that I was scheduled to write. In fact, I may have blogged that article. I'll have to go back and see. I should post the letter to the CT Editor, perhaps--but without having read the original article it would probably have little or no meaning. But, if I could find the original article and link it to my comments... See, old dogs can learn new tricks. Or at least ponder new tricks...
