Most Frustrating!

Working on my sermon this morning--about half way through--a glitch in the computer and it was gone! Frustrating. I stopped for a scheduled meeting at 11:00 a.m., went and had lunch with Thomas at the Rusty Jug. And, I just could not get back into the sermon. More frustrating. So I stopped and took a nap--perhaps some of my most productive work of the day. When I woke up it was time to go to the first rehearsal of our Maundy Thursday Living Lord's Supper.

I usually have my sermon completed and into the power point by Thursday afternoon. Today that's not the case. I have one paragraph of a sermon--one paragraph! I lost the notes for my communion meditation and the examples I had created to bring the sermon into a more practical application. All I have are the few lines from the introduction that survived the glitch. Most frustrating!

Perhaps tomorrow will be a better day.
