We bought two of our Christmas gifts this week--our new wagon and our garage opener. The wagon is to help carry bags, briefcases, and groceries from the garage to the house. Our garage door opener is a combined gift from contributions from several people.
Getting the opener functional has been a work in stages. Last November we had line laid from the electric pole to the garage. That involved digging a trench about 175 feet long, a foot deep. Today the man came to wire the garage. His work included light switches, plugs in the area of the work bench and on the opposite wall for a deep freeze [that we might some day have], plus the garage door opener. The final step will be an electrician that will come to join the wire to the pole. We hope he he will be here on Monday.
